The School of Hotel Management recently hosted an enlightening guest session titled ‘Latest Trends in the Hospitality Industry’, featuring esteemed Hotelier and Entrepreneur – Chaitanya Adgaonkar. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and co-founder of several successful ventures, including Centro Hotels and Chirp – Eat. Play. Work, Bloom – Events, and SARC Hospitality, shared his inspiring journey with the students.

During the session, he delved into his entrepreneurial path, beginning with the establishment of a co-working space in 2016 and gradually expanding into managing food & beverage establishments, including the popular ‘Apna Adda’ on the Pune-Bangalore highway. He emphasized the importance of promoting local food and beverage delicacies over Western cuisine, highlighting the vast potential of the tourism industry in India compared to neighboring countries.

The students were deeply engaged throughout the session, seeking insights into the operational intricacies of the hospitality industry.
